St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church - 129 N. Halifax Ave. Daytona
Beach (Beachside on the River). Not only will you savor the food
of Greece but you will be caught up in the traditions, culture,
art, and faith of the Greeks. So, put some OPA in your weekend and
enjoy A Gold Medal Weekend of Fun, Food, and Dancing. The festival
also features church tours to share the Orthodox faith and
traditions of the Greek Orthodox Church and travelogue films.
Expanded Entertainment: The Greek Festival has always featured Live
Music by Bands from around the country. And authentic and Greek
Dancers. ,
St. Demetrios, while ministering to the needs of its faithful, has
become a center attraction of the Daytona area. Residents of the
area are afforded the opportunity to visit and hear about our
church, its history and tradition during our annual Greek
Festival.
Thursday 11:00am until 10:00pm, Friday and Saturday 11 AM - 10
PM, Sunday 11:00am - 8 PM. Entrance: $2 donation(free admission
Thursday & Friday 11am-3pm).
